After reading a few turbo books, it drives me insane. Almost as much as someone referring to a wheel as a rim.

Sounds familiar? hehe
Seriously, '89 T-II Daytona cs with g-valved to 14 psi, ported head, 2-1/2" exhaust. My car, '90 VNT shadow w/balance shafts removed, ported head, FM ported exhaust manifold, no cat but super turbo crappy muffler on stock piping. Special 14.3 psi cal that rocks. From a 2nd gear roll I get the advantage from the quick boost of the vnt, but still pulled a couple car lengths on top of that after his boost hit and then we were up to around 100mph.
Now if I had the garrett T-II turbo instead of the vnt.... add another couple car lengths. I decided to run the T3/T4 turbo instead.
BTW...the CS is for sale here in Maine. 75,000 miles but the body is not in great shape and that's why he's selling it. No storage in maine during the winter = old cars rotting in no time. Too bad it being the rare CS T-II version.

It probably had more to do with you having about 300 lbs less weight...

lol... you buy a rare td vnt car for a fun Daily driver... But cant leave well enough alone and in a few days/weeks your already buying a cal and catback exhaust from FWDP.....
Because you hate saying your stock and wanting to go race and are worried about overboost if you remove your exhaust...
