I have some aluminum wheels I am having sandblasted.
I then want to paint or powder coat them to match the
color of the CSX-VNT fiberide wheels.

Any ideas of paint to match? Any one done this?

the rear wing looks right but the front air dam doesn't nor do the sides. The exact side skirts were sold on Ebay this year for $1,300 a set and another guy on Ebay has 6 NOS front air dams for $450 a piece, but he may be out of them. The 89 CSX is the wrong SD to buy incomplete. My car was a steel at $3,000 as it was all there and in good shape. That race car could cost $10,000 total after it is put all the way back right. It is a riot to drive I'm sure but it was missing a lot.

Ya Pope, and the interesting thing about that is, someone bought them. Again, simple supply and demand. The price goes up if the part is available, but in short supply.
Take the 426 Hemi engine for example. Before Dodge started to remake them, the price of aquireing one was enormous. When they became available, all of the original Hemi owners cringed, but the millions that couldn't get their hands on one before, were exstatic. The price came down on the originals, and the only ones that lost, were the few that were sitting on them thihking they had the last of the last.
Come on remakes!!!!

I have done some studying on my POS, it does not have Ricaro seats, as I thought it did. I studied the photos on this thread, and noticed a big difference between the seats in the photos, and mine. The Ricaros are pretty radical, I wish I had them.

I might be off subject, but I think someone here might be able to tell me what wheels were stock for a 1990 Shadow c/s vnt. I barely noticed the little c/s badge on the thing. As bone stock as the thing looks, I'm going to guess that it had some pretty plain wheels. Can any of you vnt folks help me out with which wheels I need to find?

I am replacing the fuel pump in the CSX pictured in the beginning of this thread.
Then it will be for sale. No hurry but keep it in mind if you are looking for one. Best offer OVER $2500
