what are the years the daytona vnt was made? i think i might have one from what i have read, but im not sure. any markings, i know i know, im new...

that's it.
markings are 2 'intercooled VNT' decals on the sides of the hood buldge. that's about it. pop the hood and the valve cover and intake manifold is wrinkle black and there's a straight tube connecting the TB tot he upper IC outlet.

I wasn’t sure of what exactly a variable nozzle turbo would be, and I though maybe it would have to do with the boost level. basically, my boost is at 7 psi about 80 percent of the time, but when I really get on it, after about 4500 rpm it shoots up to 14 psi, and its all stock. figured id ask...

VNT's are about building boost a differant way than a regular turbo.

it will show and tell you what's up with VNT's.

That's the computer doing that, it tries to keep the transmission in one piece. If you install a G-valve and you'll get rid of that in a hurry.
