89 CSX fiberide color matching

Hi,

I posted this on the appearance-exterior section, but got no replies so am hoping I get a reply here.

As I have been posting on here from time to time I am bringing my 89 CSX back to its original glory. One thing I've decided to do is to put 16" pumpers on it. I bought the pumpers from someone on here for a very good price.

So, I went to get the wheels powder coated gold to match the original fiberide color. Well, it turns out that the color I picked "Sahara Gold" by Tiger Drylac is a bit light. A few shades light, actually.

Has anyone matched the original gold fiberride color, and if so, could you let me know what color from what company is the correct color?

I'd like to know what the exact color is as well so I can repaint my fiberides, so free bump!

I was just going to take my 4 wheels in to get powder coated (they are after market aluminum) and one of my fiberides and look through what ever color chip catalog they might have.

please let us know what color you chose and how well it matches the fiberide color as I got the color match wrong, not far off, but not quite right by trying to match color samples to the original.
