hey thanks for the props guys,I love my vnt and will never change it out for another turbo no matter what people think about them.I wanted more power but also wanted to keep the rarity of the vnt so I went with the vnt-62.18-20lbs boost at 2200rpm makes the daytona fun to drive.
For my CAI I just put a 90 degree silicone elbow on the turbo with a 2.5" aluminum pipe to the k&N filter which sits beside the rad. It's not getting the coldest air possible there but I'ts better then a cone directly on the turbo IMHO.I might route it somewhere by the FMIC after I put in an aluminum rad.The srt ic is a nice upgrade too and you don't have to take off your "nose cone" either to install it.
The bov is a good idea especially if your going to run higher boost.Without it when you let your foot off the throttle the TB will close and the turbo will continue to build pressure in the IC and pipes which will put more back pressure on the turbo and is hard on it.The bov will just vent the unused air into the atmosphere or you can plumb it back to your intake which is more efficient but then you don't get that nice swoosh sound.A vnt has a smaller shaft so it might be more prone to premature failure.
