the car runs and drives fine until you hit it. you can here the turbo spool up but feel nothing and the car wont go past 5000rpm. wtf?

It sounds like a boost leak in the MAP sensor feed line. You have to make absolutely positive that there is not the slightest chance for a leak on that during pressurization. If it does leak at all the computer has no idea of how much fuel to feed the engine. Hence, no power and sometimes will not rev at all. Heck, I even have ALL of my Pressure/vacuum lines zip tied off. It blew the PCV hose off and would not rev up under boost at all. Do any of you have an idea of what a pain in the baskside it is to try and drive freeway speeds in a VNT car that you can not hit boost in? LMAO.
