This weekend, I towed my *red* '90 VNT Competition Package Shadow out of storage... where it's been for 3 years with an intermediate shaft/oil pump issue. Well, it currently sits next to my *red* '90 VNT ES Shadow in the garage. Kinda rare since the VNT Shadows were 141 total, and the competiton cars are 30.

Well.... my friend happens to have his *red* '90 VNT Competition Package Shadow sitting outside. There are now 3 in all... I took pics of the 2 IDENTICAL competition cars outside...with my iroc rt in the backgroud (has issues, too)

Anyone care to post pics here for me for others to see?

Can pick one of those Daytona's up for about $125k IF you can find one for sale.

Not a very good comparison.

You won't like me for this, but in the end people will still see it as a Shadow/Daytona/Spirit. I think it's cool as heck that you had those 3 cars together like that.

I can get away with speeding quite often just because my car is still a Spirit, and that's how people see it no matter what it REALLY is.

These cars will never really get the respect they deserve...shameful but true I'm afraid.

True. I can drive my 90 VNT Shadow ES well over the limit and it is ignored. Even the 16" pumpers look like hubcaps. I don't know how much longer I can stand the two-tone (black/silver) paint though. Rare or not, I think I'll have to paint it all black.

Sounds like a pretty rare combo of cars.

Hi Chris. Naw, it wasn't a comparison... just a little humor as a few people were tossing out "hey add this car or that car, too!" Trouble enough trying to get 3 VNT cars together, harder finding three VNT Shadows, even harder all of them happenig to be red. But really odd is 2 competition cars that are idenetical in very option (or lack thereof). But not all that common that all 3 don't run! (not even mentioning my iroc r/t)

One of the competiton cars is for sale. Car has rebuilt original engine, rebuilt S60 turbo, large NPR cooler, new JRB 3" exhaust from 3 years ago in the box, new 0-mile falken Azenis, new 4-puck clutch, and a slew of other new parts. Car was to be assembled this summer, but my friend ran out of time and will power. Was asking $2,500 for it all. Someone is interested now, but a friend's un-timely death put a halt to the sale for now. If the buyer backs out, I can post it here FS.

Seeing two competition shadows in one location is very unusual. My 89 is my daily driver for most of the year (I park it during the winter) and my cousin drives a 90 VNT ES shadow. Both cars are the same color red and it's pretty common that they both end up in my driveway or his next to eachother. Maybe we can drive out to Maine for a picture, that's got to impress somebody...lol..

You or anyone is welcome for a drive up here in Maine. One thing..you must bring a turbo dodge with you, though.

Got to give him credit, its hard to get 3 cars like that together. For a while, my driveway had the 2 VNT GTC's and a VNT Shelby - all Red. That was nice for a while :>
