S60 has way bigger exhuast housing, T28 I belive has jus a slightly bigger compressor wheel, S60 is a must for over 240hp

Actually the S60 VNT has a way bigger COMPRESSOR housing and wheel, the exhaust housing it the same. There are 3 members on this list that have driven in my car since I've had on the S60 VNT on a STOCK 2.5l engine and one of those members had driven in it before I swapped out the 2.2 VNT engine. There's a big difference in power levels. At 18psi, untuned, with improper cal and a 2.5 T1 cam, the car pulls HARD. At levels where the stock VNT dives off on power, I'm still going with the S60. Seeing how it's built it wouldn't be hard too duplicate one.

so a s60 vnt is just a standard vnt exhaust housing mated to the s60 compressor? meaning this could be built fairly easily?

I dont think it actually has a T2 super 60 compressor wheel. I can tell you how they built mine. 8 or so years ago when TEC made good turbos they machined a VNT backing plate & T2 compressor housing to fit on a VNT with a Grand National compressor wheel.

You cant modify the turbine housing because of the vanes for the VNT control. The turbine housing is alredy something like .80 A/R it is bigger than a 63 housing, so no point in changing that.
