Look under your car, do you have an airdam bolted to the core support. Missing that airdam will reduce the amount air going through the radiator. Even more so on a daytona.

I may see if I can find an airdam, because mine is definately missing. Do you think installing a duel fan setup in front of the AC core will help. I may install a Supra intercooler in front of that also. thanks for your help.

My car recently started Idleing and missing a bit So I figured it had something to do with my distributer, plugs, ect. Anyways, I decided to wait till the next day to investigate further. A cold front had blown in, so the next day was pretty cool compared to the 97 degree weather the day before. I cranked the car up and let it warm up to operating temperature, noticing that it was smoking for a longer period than it should have. I pulled my #1 plug and it is frosted, none of the others were, so I'm thinking it's head gasket time!! What I want to know is, what is the absolute best head gasket I can get for this thing (Daytona Shelby VNT 1990 model). Also, if I need a new head because mine is cracked, who would have a good used one or better for sale. Thanks, Joey

Use head gasket P4452006

I'm sure your head is fine. I recommend you take it all the way off and get it planed.
