Is an updated cal or larger injectors needed with a 16v conversion?

I'm not doing a 16v conversion yet but I am looking into buying a recaled computer, but I am wondering if I'd need a different cal after going to 16v? I'd think it's possible that I'd need more fuel going in to compensate for the increased flow of the 16v head or am I completely wrong? I could see it going either way so can someone clarify? Thanks.

For a cheap solution you can use D-cal and modify fuel/spark for you 16V. That what i will do this spring. The good this is you don't need to rewire anything and the smec have a good reliability.

Also keep an eye on the this section, i will post the binary as soon as my setup will run.

Larger injectors are a must. As far as your electronics go, I don't know when it's necessary to go with something better. Sorry to hijack, but this relates... What would be the best and most cost effecient engine management for a hybrid setup running around 350 hp? I'm looking at a megasquirt II for this summer.

There 3 bar +40% injector binary to begin your cal in D-cal.

Megasquirt are also sa good cheap stand alone. MS1 whit spark uploaded to ecu can provide you same option than MS2. ( MegasquirtnSpark-extra )

U can use the stock pickup coil to take the ignition event.
