Do the squirters allow air to escape since they are the highest point in the oiling system?

Basically all motors in this family(2.0/2.4) have more oil going to the head than needed. The only restriction for the newer motors '00+ is the hole in the gasket.

Air in the lifters is no good

My opinnion about this "DCR fix" is that it is a restrictor(probably around.120") that drops under the cam cap, kinda like a welding tip(of correct size), but again I havent seen one yet. The only other think it could have factored in is something to block the "bleed holes", which I dont really understand what they are there for(Russ would be the one to ask).
So overall its a $65 small peice of metal w/ a hole in it

Any way the way to go would be to put a restrictor in the block like the older motors have($2).

The reason that the DCR fix is nice is that they don't have to pull the head to put it in(or swap when they are testing)
