#1 intake curves in at bottom and the tb will not bolt up, it hits the trans.
so i chopped the end off and one off an old turbo I intake, monday i'll take it up the road to get welded.
#2 the oil filter spins on an oil cooler which is under the pass. axle. the coolant lines from the oil cooler interfer with the inner cv . should be an easy fix.

pulled out the tc motor and put back in the 2.5 hybrid one more time and working on the front end to get it to set lower. and then it will be going to the body shop to get choped. I put your cal on my computer and used it on the tc motor and wow it flys , but the motor is coming out just because there are so few of them out there.

Ucku clear out youre mail box. ill post it here

Hi Ucku.

I went threw 3 hybrid motors (all the oil stayed in the cylinder head, I wiped out the bottom ends.) . Dbltbl, commented to me that the reason all the oil is staying in the head was because i had positive crankcase pressure (blowbyfrom my rings)which was forcing the oil up threw my returns, and not letting it (the oil)get to the oil pan. THAT BOY WAS 1000% RIGHT. I am using a pollution pump from an MGB( in reverse ), were the air conditionig pump would be. Works great.

Why would you be seeing excessive blow-by? The three motors started with new rings, right?

If anyone wants pics of something in particular or just more I'll post more up. I can take a pic of anything else to help everybody out, if that's okay with Rob.

Good work, Rob! Can't wait to take all 3 vans to the track in April.

You said something had to be done to the intake, but I don't see what it was. I saw that the T-body was hitting the tranny, but beyond that how was that solved. Also, what tranny are you using? If it's an A413, how?
