On a drag car you want 500-600 frant and rear. That way you can plant the weight right where you want it. Not only do higher rate springs not want to squat, but they don't want to lift either. A reason why guys run slant six T bars with a big block engine. My omni I run a 325 front with a 250 rear. I am thinking about going less out back or more up front, too nose heavy and I will autocross too.

I would like to add, too much lack of suspension movement and you still get body roll. Just that the inside tires lift and the things rolls over. So with a van even though they can take more I am scared lol.

I have rubber snubbers that i use in the back when i drag race that works very well. the springs on the shelby were installed years ago and i was just guessing at spring rate. I really need to revamp the suspension. someday.

thanks for the info

Can't use a car sway bar in a van. Vans are wider hence so are the bars.

The first gen got one size but the 2nd gen got 2 different sizes from what I have found. Of course, to run 2nd gen bar, you need to mod the ends or use 2nd Gen K-member like I did. Springs there are some HD 2nd gen stuff and the rear, theres 4 leaf and 5 leaf setups. I am relowering mine with 5 leaf rears.

Looks like next year ought to be fun, this will make about 5 16 valve Mini's, 2 being TIII's, one being a 2.5 TIII,
I have been extremely quiet about it but I do have a 92 Grand Voyager with a NA 2.4 DOHC and a 93' A523 tranny. It drives nice but I need lower gearing. Fifth is a dog even at 70mph.
