The only real advantage there would be the use of fragile stock
pistons or seasoned forged slugs. New forged hybrid pistons from
Cindy are no more than 8v slugs. The potential power of this setup
even not trying hard would make quick work of non-forged slugs
if I was driving it daily
At anyrate a willing machine shop could do it. Idealy they would
want to take several measurments of your assembled shortblock
and head without valves in one of the cyl. My machinest bud said
he would simply use one of my core 2.4 heads as a jig, install a
modified cutter thru my valve guides and freehand it with a dial
indicator for reference. If your paying for the labor I would guess
it would probably be as much as a set of Venolias at FWD.
