Hi boys! I just received my Felpro permatorqueMLS Hg. I have ARP stud and i don't rememeber how much lbs i need to torque...

65lbs???

depends on how much boost you'll run......I torque mine at 80 for pretty high boost. Some guys only do 65-70. Others run 85+.

I go 10 lb steps from 20 to 75-85ftlbs(like said above, but I would do at least 75ftlbs if your running 20psi+) so nothing gets warped or seats unevenly.

I would run what ARP suggests for torque. Over torquing can cause more streach and this can fatigue the stud. They have a nice guide on thier site for torque specs for a givin diameter of bolt. Both with thier lube and with oil.

well the instrustions I got from them were very generic and said 65ft/lbs for alum head and 70 for iron head. do at least 75

when installing the head
step torque the nuts (in pattern) for the ARP headstud kit to 65 foot pounds
if using the ARP molylube on the threads.

step torque the nuts (in pattern) for the ARP headstud kit to 85 foot pounds
if using 30 weight motor oil on the threads.
