Okay , Here's the deal.... I've gotten a callback from my Machinist with a quote , 1,500$ for 10 (ten) adapters copied roughly from UCKU's design , all will be rough milled with maybe some tool marks , but i could spring for a buffing wheel to smooth stuff out , BTW I have access to a Hotcoat setup, I could do some powder coating also for a fee.

But all that aside it's 1500$ large for 10 , we need to setup a List , I'm gonna put pen to paper to prepare it. and then there's shipping, I DO NOT want a dime on shipping. plain and simple ! pay what it costs !

I'm looking to score 1 , so that leaves 9 more before I'm gonna give the OK to the guy !

PM me with your name and Address so we can get this rolling,

That is way too much. They can be made much much cheaper than that with a lower startup cost.

Way too much?? Go ahead and take a design to a cnc shop and see what they charge you for 10...and you probably won't sell 10. I would be interested in one but it just doesn't feel right, your reproducing someone elses work....

Right or not, I've said it numerous times , I'm using that design.
Besides, it's a block of aluminum, I didn't see any serial #'s Besides , I'm gonna be the one stuck with extra ones if any fall through..
I've said it before, I'm not interested in making extra money on this piece.
Only thing i'd make $ on is finishing & Powder coating .
evrything else would be @ cost , I would even buy my own adapter...
so like i said "I need 9 more people to PM me and we'll get the ball rolling"

I already drew the design myself and have it priced.

The design is from a gentlemen that gave the design to the community. It is freely hosted on another site. My design uses some of those dimensions and takes nothing from Uku's design.

Even if it did it doesn't take that much to trace the countour of the DOHC head. I simply chose to do an extended version of the cam sensor and keep it simple so that it isn't an issue.

I think it is pretty much fair for anyone to produce these at this point the info has been out there for a while....

I'd like to get at least 7 (including me) so that 6 people total and the ball is a rolling , I'm due to take a tour of the shop tomorrow morning , meet with some brass, (probably a salesman) and get some more details together..

depending on $$ flow this month the above # may drop a few people needed before i get it started..

I think there are more than 3 people that might need this, but right now you're competing with the possibility of this: Electronic Distributor Adapter. Check the thread out. I'm waiting to see that becomes of it.

I know what i'm up against, but isn't that for using 2.4 electronics with a 2.2/2.5 bottom end ?

This is to use stock computer to conver the hep signals to fire a neon coil.
The guy is working on getting the 2.4 cam and crank sensor signals coverted to hep so the stock computer can use that to fire the coils too.
