Okay I have a couple ?s

does the mistu 2.0 turn the same way as the chry 2.5 there on opp side of the car I would think they would have changed the direction in the tranny?

I would like to do a hybrid conversion but I'm not sure it will work its out of a 91 laser I don't care if the exaust is out the front or not I can make that work I just wanted to make sure what head I had and flow numbers that kind of stuff , I can't find that info here does anybody have a website I can resarch this kind of stuff

and how strong is the mistu 2.0 lower end if I decide to change my mind

any help would be greatly appr.

It has to be the Chrysler head from the 2nd gen eclispe/talon or an avenger. It is just an inverted neon head. The 1st gen is a 4g63 head and is totally different.

This is a '95 Mitsu reversed pattern head, with the '95 cams. I doubt I'll ever use it, gonna stay 8 valves.

my head has a different valve cover on it but I checked the way the engine turned and it turns the same way

I took the valve cover off and the bolt pattern for the head bolts is the same as the 2.5 I have if I were to set the head on my engine it puts the intake out the front like alout of the hybrids I have seen

were can I look up numbers to find out what I have because I dont know anything about the neons as far as gen go and I think this motor had been swapped before

99.9% of engines turn the same way, except older marine engines

Some Honda engines turn CCW as well as some diesels. I think you have a 4g63 engine, which will not work. If the valve cover doesn't look like the one above I don't think it's the right engine.
