what is the easiest way to get spark when using the 16 valve neon head what can i use since the intake is in the way of where the distributer would go and i would like to retain my stock electronics if possible in my 86 s/c t2 conversion

Custom intake so the stock distributor clears the intake. Or someone on here sells a adapter to mount the distributor on the cam instead.

I understand, I didn't forsee any of the problems we've run into back when I started the 2.4 stuff... I haven't been able to work on it much at all with school, and this week/next is finals. After mid-next week, I'm done until January, so it will be done. My own hybrid has pretty much been sitting since the beginning of November...

C'est la vie. We all suffer from this affliction. Too many projects with too little time ( and usually money too ). Hopefully in your school break you can work out the last of the bugs.

I don't understand. Unless they flow a lot more over the neon heads, why would you want the exhaust and turbo on the front? And then run hot exhaust pipes over the tranny near the intake pipes?

Amen to that. I'm looking forward to the non NGC adapter myself. I really don't want to put that distributor back onto the side of the head.
