I have a feeling my 2.5L w/ the G-head is non interference... I just couldn't imagine collision in there for some reason

When I was setting up my engine I ran into this same problem ,

But I only had 1 piston and i chambers worth of valves. I simply could not turn the motor over without additional clearance.

BEWARE N/a 2.5 pistons , The top ring land is VERY close to the crown of the pistion. if ya don't believe me .....good luck finding a used 2.5 piston.
