i'd make a short runner intake if you could. but i'd go with the top on just because it looks better. i think there both about the same.
you could always run one then swap latter and see if there is any difference.

Use the black one (I think the runners were nicer) and cut it into a shorty. Here's mine:

for now i may have to use the lower intake. the plunum looks like it'll be the only one that will clear for the oil relocation lines.

How about using an intake from a 2.0 DOHC. It bolts right on and take up alot less room.

Why are you using the full intake? just curious I didn't think the long runners were worth anything on a turbo car?

No. They are both intakes from a 2.4. The 2.0 DOHC intake has alot shorter runners and is cast in two pieces. Which makes it easy to port and polish every bit of it and a simple spacer can be used to increase your plenum volume. All things that would be good for a turbo car. I'll see if I can find a good picture.

and also the t-stat housing wont clear the timing belt either.
