See my post in the "Engine Management" section. I added turbo HEP decoding to MS2-Extra.. It's only been half tested at the moment, so it's still a bit of an experiment. I imagine it's going to work just fine. No need for a cam sensor, since the HEP essentially IS a cam sensor, but with the extra triggers you need to do everything with it. Gunna have MS in my van real soon.

I plan to use the stock HEP and a coil pack. No need for sourcing a 36-1 wheel, mounting it DEAD center on the crank pulley, and engineering a mount for the VR sensor.

Here's a VR sensor for the ford EDIS system mounted to a 2.2 using megasquirt.
in case someone wanted to see it.

Um, how did you find a way to mount the wheel and hub together?

Cheers, Wizard

Exactly. They don't just fit together. Weld that puppy on by hand, and it's going to be offcenter and smack the sensor every time around.

You mounted that to the A/C belt tensioner pulley bolt holes?

And even if you weld in on by hand, can't you round it off in a lathe?
