yeah man thats insane. i love clean an engine bay becomes when an SRT-4 motor is put in. You can get rid of the rats nest of wiring and vacuum lines that the original turbo motors had. 3 thumbs up!

25 mpg on this last tank, and that isn't driving for economy. No 1/4 times yet, soon hopefully.
Alright, you build some more and I'll sell them for you. Uh, I think you need to build a demo model for your sales department first.

Now that is impressive! Amazing work there! I would put the stock wheels back on and pull the turbo badges off the fenders.

^ brakes are too big for the 14's, we tried to find the right hubcaps for bigger steel wheels, but didn't find any. Its a woody wagon anyway, no one gives it a second glance on the road.

It is really nice how the wiring and vacuum lines are under the intake lines and run under the radiator like the SRT. The toys and wiper wiring gets hidden under the hood gasket along the back. Makes for a nice clean bay.

Well, as long as you tried to make it work. That thing looks super smooth. Very good work there.

15" steel wheels looked like they fit, as long as the front brake pads are half worn. Otherwise the caliper hits the inside of the wheel. Maybe we can find some 15" wire wheel hubcaps at Carlisle??

Those were the easy parts. Ask about the dimmer switch for the interior lighting and the door lock circuits. Took a prototype circuit board to convert from the kcar stuff to the SRT. Those *might* be available for sale, if anyone else wants to do a similar conversion.

I am waiting for the cruise control.....Stage 2 doesn't have the cruise activated on the PCM, so it has to be a standalone system.

The SRT keyless entry module didn't pulse the door locks long enough to fully actuate the k-car locks. The SRT interior dimmer is handled through the cluster instead of with the rheostat in the light switch. I made up a little module that pulses the door locks for 0.7 seconds as well as reads the position of the dimmer rheostat and outputs the proper voltage for the cluster to control the gauges lights. I never intended to produce them, but the schematic and code are available to anyone that wants them.

The radio bezel should be the same as the ones with the info center, it just unscrews once you get it off the dash. Very cool project, nice fab work. 87-89 Lebarons that had 15 inch steel wheels had a hubcap that would look decent on the car.

Paid 175 for the wagon, about 2 grand for a parts SRT. I can't give you an accurate estimate for hours, but it was started in December and finished in June. That's working some nights and weekends during school, if I had to do it over again, I'd say I'd have it done in three weeks or so working daily.

We were only considering steelies with wire hubcaps, the lace LeBaron wheels are close enough. Took it to a show last week, the people were looking at us like "why are you entering this in the show?".
