Just wondering if anyone picked up the latest modified magazine, on one of the last pages in the readers ride of the month section is a pretty sweet turbo shadow 16v !!!
I find it awsome that someone of the TD community had a clean enough whip to make it into a magazine that is nearly exclusif to the import scene.

But good press is always welcome.

Was it a dark bluish purple color one? Running a MegaSquirt? He hangs in the Neon forums. It's a gorgeous show quality car. Not riced in the slightest. Time to stop hatin the imports. Mopar has been owned by non American owners for a long time now.

Well according to you street racing is for ricers and ricers are steriotypically imports.
So in conclusion I dont wanna be in the import seen. Sorry. I am young and would rather not be associated with imports.
Thanks though

Yeah it was dark blue and running megasquirt, very clean ride.
Import or not, a clean well built ride should be easy to appreciate by any real car enthusiast!
But then again everyone has their own oppinion.

I saw that car at SDAC this year and it has to be one of the best engineered TD's out there. So many parts from different rides all integrated together.

He should be on here, if not, he's on the other site, and was car of the month a couple of months ago.

Yes, I am registered on this site but ever since it went all advertised I find it annoying and slow just to pulll up a thread so I really don't visit much. I thought today I should come and see where things have gone, so sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead.

I just wanted to say thanks for the props on the car. I tried getting it into a tuner mag because I thought it would be more of an accomplishment with all the well built tuner cars out there. I am happy to represent the TD crowd and show that people are working on more than just Hondas and Nissans.

I ended the season with a best ET of 11.67@123 and a best mph of 126. This winter will see a roll bar, chromoly control arms, hopefully a worked OS valved head and possible some air shifting. My goal next year will be low 11s and if I'm really lucky a dip into the 10s.

Thanks again.
