16v Conversion Converting to 16V status

Finally in the car!!

Its taken YEARS but my hybrid is finally bolted in! The turbo barely clears the firewall but with solid motor mounts and solid bubble strut should keep everything where it needs to be. Also did 5 speed swap while I was at it, seemed like everything needed to be custom or modified lol.

Specs:
'89 T-IV block +.020" forged Wiseco slugs
'89 T-IV shot peened rods
'89 T-IV shot peened crank
2.0l DOHC head
2.0l cams
Holset HE351
'92 523
Custom made intake, bought from neon forum. Clears dizzy with alittle grinding.

Sweet intake. alot bigger than mine ,its a 3in box on 2.5in runners. Your's looks like a 4-5 in plenum and short runners ?

I have had that intake laying around so long Ive forgot big it actually is lol. Pretty short runners and small for the size of the plenum. Guy I bought it off of said he was making close to 400 whp with it.

Im really happy with my set up, im really just scratching the surface of what the hybrid can do, although im starting to not like the term "hybrid" as my engine is not a hybrid its all dodge 2.2/2.5 with a performance cylinder head just like any v8 owner does to his car and they dont call it a hybrid.....

Thanks everyone! Been pretty busy altho havent got much done on the car just some wiring hooked up and solid motor mounts in.

The header is just a cheapo ebay piece I got from neon forums. It is fairly thick but could have used a bit of porting.

Still need to figure out exactly what injectors I am going to use. Need to find a fuel rail, throttle body, afpr, wideband, ect ect lol. I would like to see it run before winter but there is alot of work to get done.

it's not that there's too much to do , it's just all small details ! , plugging , drilling , fabricating , planning.. Etc.. I love my hybrid (it's the easiest way to describe the 2.2-2.5/2.0-2.4 swap) What kind of pistons are you running again ?
