put a TIII 2.2 dohc head on a carb'd 2.2 motor and kept it carb'd???
im currently building my carb'd 2.2 block and am thinking about putting a TIII dohc 2.2 head on it just getting the carb'd intake manifold and header welded up to the TIII manifold flanges so they bolt up to the head and getting a cam driven distributor so i dont gotta mess w cam and crank sensors, new computer, wiring etc. etc. but anyway im putting .060 over flat top pistons in the block and was wondering would i get would i get more hp out of the high compression w the 8v 782 head? or more hp out of the waaayyyy better flowing but i belive loosing some compression TIII 2.2 dohc head??? its a strange question because its carb'd and not turbo'd has anyone done this? it's not a money issue either way and im not gonna turbo the F@#*ing thing so please dont bother going there. its just a question of which head should i go with to get the most power out of my motor because i have both options at my finger tips......

he did! he used a 16v hans hermann designed dohc head for the 2.2. he put 2 side draft carbs on it and a custom header it was really nice, i can get one of those heads for $1000 but it has no cams or valvetrain and i doubt i could ever find those parts so.... yeah
