Ok, i have ported and polished cylinder head to use with this project. The only problem is, is that its decked .040. I was wondering what i could do to bring the compression ration back down. And also if this head would work with the conversion.

MLS gaskets are available to at least .063".
Headsaver shims are out there, have read
that Neon guy's have stacked the MLS gaskets
so the .040" should not be an issue. What
short block are you using?

Yeah, I was going to suggest stacking 2 MLS gaskets.
