We have just about every kind of equipment you can think of: loaders, dozers, track hoes, tankers, spray trucks, cars, mowers, air boats and thinks that fly to.

Just a sample of some.

You guys can send applications, we will be hiring a new mechanic at the end of the year and a welder next year. We also get two weeks off over christmas and new years (paid) on top of the two weeks normal vacation time.

One of the coolest thinks here is if we have a truck breakdown on the road we get to fly out in a helicopter to work on it.

This is scary now, I am a welder/mech/fabricator with experience in all above AND Jet boat's, 40ton Naval forklifts...ect,ect. :) On top of that I would be spending my lunch time removing rattlesnakes (ya I love FL) from property at no charge!
Seriously Alex the pay scale there is very similar to our's up here and our work ethic would make native Floridian's dizzy I love wandering thru dealership's and repair shops when in FL and watch the frenzied pace of employee's :)

Lee County Mosquito Control District, we kill mosquitoes!!!!

We build/maintain all of our own equipment, everything except frontend alignments.

Send me a PM with your address (any of you) and i will send you a application and i will turn it in for you when you send it back. Not promising anything, but it can't hurt.

If you have a weak stomach don't apply, we are the one's they call when an aircraft goes down in sw florida (we have all the recovery equipment). Not exactly a perk of the job. And we also travel some during the summer time if other states/counties need help.

We are part of the lee county disaster managment team. Most of the time when a airplane/helicopter goes down we bring our floodlights to the site first, the investigators/coroner work into the night most of the time. At the same time we work with the firefighters to determine how to best get the wreckage removed from the area (most of the time we take it to one of our hangers for the NTSB investigators sift through). That night or the next day we will bring one or two of our cranes, Stake/Box Trucks etc, to remove the wreckage. The bad part is that before you start to remove the larger pieces of wreckage, the coroner will tell you what body parts he is missing from the people on board. The last fatal crash i went to as we removed a large piece of wing out of a tree and we found the spine of a woman that was aboard the aircraft, .When we first arrive after a crash if someone has died it is not that bad but, the next day the smell is something you will never forget. It is not like we do this all the time but we have about 1 a year.

Not after I am hired :)

Hunter school of engineering, Advanced auto Alignment class 1, Advanced Class 7/8+ truck chassis and theory in design.

Bear Certified, all levels Passenger thru Heavy d-2 (trucks).

Peterbuilt Certified Steering/suspention and alignment

Freigtliner "blah blah blah".

ASE Certified both auto and truck Steering/sus/brakes.

Have to take the chassis "folder" out for more, basicaly give me a level and a tape measure to diagnose steering axis inclination and included angles :) Bet I can save you fuel and tires to cover my modest salary

Do anyone know where I can find a how to article on the 16v conversion. I own CSX 203 and I have a DOHC 16V head off the Neon. I found plenty of threads but no actual how to threads or articles.

Use the search function, there are some pretty good articles that help show how to do it.

I love how this 16v thread has into into a job application thread / show off the size of my Shop-Wang thread. Someone stumbles in, "Anyone know of any articles of 16v engines?"

"Oh yeah, try the search function or looking over there."

Priceless Although this analogy probably sounded funnier in my head, I still think it's hilarious!

Cheers, TheCanadian
