I got the montero intake today. Spent some time cleaning it up. Im gonna try a few experiments (cant test fit because I dont have an assembled motor. :P )

i often wondered if the newer 3.0's would work in the shadow. i like the idea of 24 valves..

ondonti- your car is awesome! keep it up! i have all the turbo stuff for my 3.0L shadow, but i haven't had the time to install it. and after seeing your results, it's making me want to ge this done even faster! have you run into any weird probelems with your car since it's been turbo'ed? just curious, so i know what i'll be running into. anyways keep it up!

are you talking about the stealth motors or the new sohc 24v motors. the later is oriented in the same way the 12v motor is with the trans on the drivers side. even the eclipses run the motor and trany that way,

Thats the one. They have problems. THe only fix to the cam problems is $1300 custom replacements from austrailia.

Now, if you dont want to make big HP, then it doesnt matter. Of course, if you dont want big power, then dont bother with all that hard work.

I already blew up 1 shortblock because the stock fuel pump cant handle more then 5 psi on my setup reliably..........and the ignition was advanced a lot (accidentally).
