This car, mine (sounds cool), with it's last run down the dragstrip, which was only it's 5th time to run the dragstrip, is 3rd fastest in the U.S.... 10.47 at 138.50

It was a run with the clutch slipped out on it at 1/3 throttle with no boost off the line....

It is 14th in rank in the WORLD currently.....

But that may be about to change.....

Btw- do you know if that 8.9 is street legal, DRIVABLE, or just a race car only?? also, do you know if it is still AWD or been converted to RWD??

COOL!!!

RYNO

LOL Sorry bro 10.7 is an impressive time With that MPH you have should be into the deep 10's.

Whats the fastest WRX in America?

The 8.9 one here in Australia is not street legal just a drag car actually its a WRX wagon. Will find pic of it and post it here.

Easy Street Motorsports is ranked as the quickest and fastest for the new generation WRXs (in USA), as they have ran 9.48 at over 145 recently. They can be found here http://www.esxmotorsports.com/home.htm

Turbotrix will be unveiling their new Subaru soon as well, here are a couple "teaser" photos of the car.

well.... I talked to the driver/ engineer of the car and he said it has actually gone a 10.20 @ 142mph.... supposedly just didn't have it on video, but has the timeslip to back it up....

that's 10.47 Bro.... not 10.70..... haha!!!

;-)

That wagon is dope!!!!!!

Ali Afshar is my target, but, he is not actually legal..... because he runs a Supra rear end, which means that it is not all SUBARU, which is actually breaking the rules for the class.....

Yes, I am going to De-Godzilla it, in fact, it is already in the paint shop getting body work done.... probably going to go with a stock bumper cover, Seibon CF hood, CF TRUNK, and lip kit all around on stock front and rear bumpers.....

It has some Prodrive P1 's now in silver, which look good, but I am getting sponsored by Enkei for any 1 set of wheels I want..... so I am looking at which ones I might want from them....

TurboTRIX's car is awesome!!!!

Ryno,

You're right, Ali's car is RWD but the car I mentioned from Easy Street is driven by Julie Stepan. Julie's WRX is in the Street Class and runs 9.4s. Easy Street also has a Pro-modified AWD subaru that traps 173 in the 1/4, see this article.

yes, right, but the car Julie drives has A SUPRA rear in it, which actually is a disqualifier for the true "all-subaru" record and could be contested....

Easy street has some cool stuff...

Anyone heard of Bob Norwood??? hmm??? Remember the outlawed NORAD TOYOTA??

well, he lives here in TX at Rockwall... about 120 miles from me.... he has done all the R And D for Easy Street and all their tuning....

He personally invited me to come over to his shop and speak with him on some of his thoughts and ideas he has for my car....

He is a Motec dealer/tuner and he wants to help me get started on things with it also....

He has many ideas on engines and has some spare parts he might part with cheaply or so he says.....

We will see, might get to go there this weekend to see him....

You got it for less than the price of a new SRT4?

BTW, I like anything engineered for speed... my middle name is Bonneville!
