my car sounded like a subie when I melted the #3 piston a couple years back. Had that nice choppy sound to it.

drive a wrx with new up pipes and the subie sound is gone. actually a much beter note with it too.

Not sure bout that. Buddy here has a modified WRX and it still has that boxer sound.

I have a 2004 Subaru Forester XT w/ 2.5L Turbo...and I LOVE it.
Quicker than a WRX and...roomier.

I also used to have a 2002 WRX Wagon. It was great, but the 2.0L suffered from some terrible turbo lag.

MarkyD Yeah WRX's are not that flash after 100KMPH found they struggle a bit.
