Not sure where to go for info, sorry, but turbo 2 stroke's would be interesting.I'm into 2 stroke street bikes, and have seen pictures of them turboed, but never read much on the set-up.I would like to learn more about it,especially how they keep crank seals from failing...Good luck on your search!

2 strokes have lots of exhaust flow. I would think the exhaust turbine would get real carboned up after a short while but its prob a drag sled right?

wonder how much boost it was running... the rotax motor uses a rotary valve instead of reed valves- thus carb tuning for it would be nearly impossible. I shouldn't say that... anything is possible but if you've ever seen what a rotary valve looks like or how it works... I'd figure it'd bind into the side of the case, with pressure against it... That's why Bombardier uses a 4 stroke for the new supercharged motors.

turbocharging works just fine on all kinds of 2 stroke engines. just think of the rpms those things turn, and that they move twice as much air since they fire every engine rev. makes that 800 cc engine become alot larger if you do the math.

Not saying it's not possible... I'd just like to see how it's done on a "SkiDoo" which uses the rotax engine. I have a "SeaDoo" XP with the 800cc Rotax, it turns 110hp stock. I'm fully aware of the potential. Just that 2stroke is very picky about the size and shape of the exhaust pipe, so throw an obstruction in there... and like I said, ya got this spinning disc that has a window cut it in to time fuel delivery... mounted right smack-dab against the case before the ports. I would think that any pressure against that disc would cause it to grind into the case. Heck the case has marks on it from the rotary valve rubbing on it anyways... this is just me reverse engineering the idea...
