my ram is a little low on power and thought why i have access to a free holset turbo off of a cummins would this be to big or to small for a 318 i dont want to make a huge amount of power just add some more power it is a 95 dodge ram 318 fuel injected i can do most of the mechanical stuff but i do not know about the ecu what size injectors to use ect

Not sure if that turbo is too big for a low rpm truck motor...someone else will have to chime in on that.

For fuel you can always add an additional injector in the intake pipe with an AIC (additional injector controller)....or you can go with bigger injectors and an FMU.

For timing you can go with an MSD 6BTM. This will retard your timing on boost.

how is the computer going to react to boost will a stock computer even work with boost

The stock system should still lookup tables depending on MAP or Air Meter readings depending on what kind of system you have. iThe idea is to tune the AIC to cut in once you get into boost because the stock computer will not be supplying enough fuel for positive manifold pressure.
