Well today I picked up a 91 talon Turbo AWD with out the turbo and a few other odds and ends for $100 so I do not have a lot in to the car and might try to put it back tighter again .

Since I might be needing some parts dose anyone know of a good list for the talon/eclipse/ DSM list that is not over populated with ""Boy racer"" type.

thanks Paul B

I have owned one of those cars. Is yours a Automatic or a 5 speed ? I can tell you that the rearend in the 91 is weak. If you make a lot of power you need to go with a 92 4 bolt rearend. Also VFAQ.com is a awesome site for tech stuff. If you have any questions just pm me and I will try to help you out. There are a ton of free mods you can do to go fast. Also you will need to buy you a analog volt meter so you can pull codes when you need to. Over all I loved my 92.It was a automatic, but I went with a 14b 5 speed turbo and the 5 speed 450cc injectors, walbro fuel pump and 3 inch down pipe. And I could hammer Z28's and SS camaros in a hurry. You can have alot of fun with those cars just be ready to work on it a lot. But it is a real fun car to own. AND THEY RESPOND TO EVERY LITTLE THING YOU DO !
Good luck.

if ur lookin for a turbo, it all depends what kind of power u r lookin to make
if ur lookin for a good streetable all around turbo, an evo III big 16g is a good way to go, 14b is also good, t-25 alot of people dont like in the dsm world but thats what came stock in mine untill i swapped it out, i had ran 22psi stock on it for a race one night and the car booked!!!
if ur lookin to go about 300whp big 16g is the way to go, minimal lag for good take offs and very streetable, either that or get an FP green (forced performance) dont go red as they are more track turbo's.. either way have fun with the dsm they are very good and very fast cars no doubt!

That is a great price. What is left of the body, interior and transmission?

DSMTalk - Buy/Sell section, lot of assholes
DSMTuners - Friendlier, less techy environment, lot of FnF types

Fantastic price man. You can pick up the factory 14b that came on the car for cheap (roughly $100 - 150) and it has awesome potential. I'm curious as to the condition also. Pictures!!
