hey guys im lookin to put a new turbo in this car that i bought today. im lookin to have it make lag for the increased fun factor. what turbo would you guys recommend? im not sure how much boost its running, (i havent drove it yet) but anyways, its a 2.6L mitsu engine, with the stock TDO4-12A turbo, im lookin for a larger turbo with decent turbo lag. also what companies have parts for these cars?

i would go over it very carefully before putting any more boost to it. bushar racing has some parts, but not many.

yea i have to replace the water pump, and re-do the timing on it, other than that the engine had a rebuild about 600 miles ago, piston rings, bearings, honed, caravan head w/ adjustable valves

bushar used to make a manifold to convert from tbi to fuel injection. my cousin had one for his starion. i dont know if they still make it, but it made a hell of a difference. (bit pricey at the time)

yeah those 2.6l are very picky, crack heads very easily if i remember correctly, b/c of that the hot ticket is to transplant a 4g63.... much greater power making potential... then you can really get a big turbo for the motor.

i have seen pics of them with a mpfi manifold from a different mitsubishi engine on them,, I dont know any details though. I also think you can get a head from a k-car or caravan with the mitsubishi 2.6 and its a lillte bit more durable.

I'm working on a 4G63 swap with a 700R4 chevy trans for my wifes conquest. Should be a very quick but reliable setup.

How about a 2.4 srt conquest with the liberty 6 speed in it? shouldnt be to hard. I was thinking of doing a rear wheel drive SC but why chop it up when the conquest is all ready rear wheel drive. I know they do the 4g63 in there, but why not keep it dodge?

the door chime for conquests is like the entire mitsubishi theme song from the 80s.. pretty weird. i laughed for a while the first time i heard it.. conquests are as much chrysler as lasers and talons were plymouths and eagles. just badge engineered mitsus.
