i'm kinda torn between the turbo mustang or the sunbird gt with turbo.
i know its a mazda, but what about a rx7? i have a friend who had one of those
and that thing would move! it6 was turbo and intercooled in a rotary engine.
talk about rpms! wow.

I would love to have a 86-88 Chevy Sprint Turbo. 1.0L MPFI and intercooled. Kind of hard to find though.

So I made my own...

I really liked my 1987 GN I bought brand new. 12.00 was my best time.. drove it to the track (got 30mpg) slapped on slicks, took off the front sway bar, installed 90/10 front shocks, blasted 12.08's consistantly, put everything back and drove home.
my 2nd favorite turbo I owned was my 1992 Cummins dodge dually. 22mpg, 17 pulling my 28' enclosed race car trailer. (does that count?)
then there was my best car ever... 1984 canadian spec VW rabbit turbo diesel. 55mpg, gotta love it.
then there was my 1988 Volvo/White/GMC that had a 400 cummins that I had jacked up to 480hp. I remember the ticket I got in Nebraska doing 95mph, the trooper gave me a $10 failure to conserve energy ticket. that was pretty funny.

you got anymore pics of that? or info? i am gonna pick up a 90 Subaru Justy and its got the same engine as a sprint, firefly, metro, swift yadda yadda. cept its the 1.2 litre version but same block. i was looking into turbocharging it. 1900 pounds all wheel drive and 120 horsepower sounds fun.

My Metro runs a small RHB5 turbo on a home made log style exhaust manifold. I used a Sprint Turbo intercooler mounted in front and a 1st Gen DSM BOV. I bought a pressure hat off of ebay to pressurize the TBI unit. I run 5 psi on it every day and it is a lot of fun to drive. Fuel management is a larger 1.6L Geo Tracker TBI with a 5K Ohm potentiometer in line to the coolant sensor to fool the ECU into thinking the engine is cold when in boost. The coolant sensor mod is controlled by an adjustable pressure switch.

I am not sure about the Justy if it is the same engine. I belong to www.teamswift.net and no one ever mentioned the Justy engine being the same. Isn't that a 9 valve engine?

I know the Suzuki Swift GT DOHC 1.3L 16v fits in the Metros. Not sure about the Justy. The Isuzu Impulse engine does not fit the Metro. It does fit the Geo Storms.
