whats your favorite turbo car besides your TD. I am looking into getting another car and want some opinions. Oh, i also want a car that is pretty easy to modify like our turbododges. :banaride: Some of the cars that came to mind were the turbofords (supercoupe, SVO), mitsu eclipse/talon awd, or a toyota with a 3TC in it. All opinions welcome because i need help!

The toyotas with the 3TC's have A LOT of potential. My brother and i have a circle track car with one in it. Sees 9600rpm every race, and this is a pushrod motor too. Getting very hard to find the cars that came with these motors in good shape. I would think a turbo talon/eclipse would be the way to go though, lots of them around, cheap to buy, pretty easy to make REALLY fast.

yea i was looking at those too
but i would get rid of the 4g61 engine and swap a 4g63 in there
its basically the same engine but less stroke.
check it out http://www.4g61t.org/phpBB2/

I would never own anything Mitsubishi, but the Turbo Mirages and wide body Crapquests were decent looking cars. Anyone remember the early 80's Buick Skyhawk/Pontiac Lemans Turbo?

Not a turbo but a A3 VR6 GTI has always had an apeal with me, and if 174HP is not enough they can handle boost VERY well due to the all forged construction. Good luck on finding the RIGHT car

I know this isnt a factory turbo'd car, but I got a right from a friend with a turbo H22 prelude, damn that thing was fast. T3/T4 at 10psi with a spearco FM. I thought he sold it a long time ago, turns out it was just in his garage being built lololol

I have a 91 GSX eclipse. Great cheap AWD fun and all for only $1K and it is a blast to drive with the booost turned up and big exhaust. A grand in go fast goodies will get you a winter car running 12's on pump gas
