I've seen many of the pics on this sight and would like to put a cold air intake on my Shelby-Z, but am confused with the blow off valve that I see on the intakes. Is it secondary to the stock one or do you get rid of it, hows it work? HELP please

The stock airbox is removed, a k&n cone filter is placed on the turbo inlet hose. The stock upper intercooler hose is replaced with a piece of metal pipe that has a BOV mounted on it. You only use 1 BOV.

check out the www.thedodgegarage.com turbo database for more information about using Blow-off valves on these engines

/\ what he said..... you can hear the turbo spool up much better with an open filter.... then take a piece of 2.25" metal exhaust pipe... have someone weld the flange onto the pipe... any exhaust shop can do this.... tee into the vacuum nipple on the throttle body and hook the line into the bov and voila... i love bov's they sound awesome when you shift gears..... makes people look and think..... wtf? coolest thing i ever did to my csxt
