I dont think that was I flame thrower kit on the 1st run That is awsome how the car squats as it gets up in the R's. I wonder what kind of Fuel and boost there throwing at that sucker?

Well it looks like we broke another record. We decided to pull a late night and tune her on C16. Spool is REDICULOUS! on the street this car will see full boost under 5000 RPM! The number as they stand right now are

826 AWHP!!! and 597 Ft/ lbs! that was on 42 psi on C16 just like the car would sit on the street!

Oh and Martin isnt done yet!

I will have Mark here edit the video footage I took and get it up here in the morning. The car is DEAFENING!!

oh and guys this was ALL BOOST!!! NO NITROUS!!!

Eric

skeet skeeet skeeet.
45 psi and a HOT new cam. 2.3L stroker.
Dude here in utah is going out to florida this week. The evo is going up against a turbo saleen and a nitroused F body.

He is putting $1400 against the evo in each race.

Is that Utah Cobra Guy?

Anywho... this is funny. We talked with Martin at AMS one month ago asking him about my brother's car utilizing the 4202R and a low compression 2.4 bottom end. He called us dumbasses for trying to use the turbo with a 7.8:1 motor. Guess what? They are putting 7.5:1 pistons in that car soon.

It's pretty awesome for sure though, 909 corrected awhp I believe and 941 uncorrected. No nitrous even still. He still has less cam, less headwork, and no spray compared to us though. This spring will be interesting for sure

Yeah, waldo, aka cobramanofutah.

I think he has a lot of faith the AMS evo is going down.

Ive got no problem at all with low compression. Im going 7.3ish myself.

I called cobraman out on the SVT Forums with my partially built Talon. Needless to say, he should change his name to mouthofutah.

There are a bunch of rednecks whose wallets are going to take a beating when this Evo rolls out..

Thats great, but I would bet against a mitsubishi also. First off, think of the cylinder pressures the car is seeing. At 40+ psi of boost, head gaskets will have to be regularly replaced even though the head is studded. The boost pressures are also stressing the rods and bearings violently as well. That car will not hold up int he long run. 900+ HP is damn impressive, any 2.0L Mistu turbo engine built up is impressive, they made ungodly numbers! They just are not reliable even for short bursts!

The mustang guys have it easy , as the new cobra has a bullet proff bottom end stock, easily take 700+ HP stock.. shoudl be interesting!

a lot of cars won't hold up in the long run with 900hp
