Well, I come on here for some help/info and what do i get, but _ucking laughed at. I was asking if i could move the turbo cause i am proud of my TD and would like to show it off cause that's why i bought the damn thing. (and plus it's FAST!!!) And it would also be great for those late night Show Off's at McDonalds. Cause that's what everyone like DKKNE does! I think your mom's callin. It's BEDTIME.

Thanks for those who did help through PM's.

Thanks,

Chris

My mom has passed away asswipe. I am a network admin for a very large company.. but I do contribute to your employer , McDonalds, at lunch once in awhile.

I am glad that you Own a TD, in fact I also commend you for your ingenuity as well. Just thought that maybe you were some 16 year old kid with no clue what happens after you turn the ignition switch..

Well, i'm greatfully sorry for your loss. I didn't mean do bring up anything like that. I just fugured that if you were actually into something like TD'S then you would have been a little more helpfull instead of against anything that i wanted to do. So, once again i'm sorry and maybe we could just forget what was said and start fresh.

Okay we were alittle harsh. This is the best bet and bang for the buck you could go with. Get a 420a (not 100 percent sure of the spelling) from an eclispse/talon and do a 16 valve motor. Your intake will be towards the passenger compartment and your exhaust manifold/turbo will be right where you want it to be. chris

Sounds like a Hybrid DOHC motor and a custom "ram-horn top mount" exhaust manifold is what you're looking for.

Or maybe get one of TurbosUnleashed's turbo headers. That moves the turbo towards the drivers side quite a bit. It's not quite "in your face". But better than completely hidden under the intake manifold.

That wasn't meant to be mean/sarcastic. He wanted the turbo to be "better noticed" when he opens his hood. Well, tell me if I'm totally wrong if he had the before mentioned setup?

I think it would be kinda neat if you could fab something up that worked good to move the turbo the the front. Would be easy to work on it, would prolly be easier to intercool it, would prolly cool better in the front by the grill too? And of corse you could show it off.

Unless you are going to be putting a 16v head on there is no reason in the world to move the turbo from where it is stock. No offense, its just not a good idea.
