Sounds like mopar4340 is one of those un-creative traditionalists that get bent outta shape when they see anything out of rigind convention. People with that kind of attitude pestered the hell out of me when they were horrified to find that I was putting a cadillac motor in my 78 pontiac, and I'm "cheating" when I smoke them by 12 buslengths.
Call you retarded for putting one of the best designed bulletproof engines made, regardless of nationality or any of that crap, in a different car from the norm? Hell it's up to you, and I'm sure it'll be fun.
And I know I'd get insulted too if I was building the 'cuda, because I'd have dropped the caddy 500 equipped with EFI in there, and I'll sit there and smile as you tear into me for "molesting" the car or whatever by putting a GM engine in there! And I'd simply do what you aughta do, 8valveprick: if anyone puts you down for putting a "ricer motor" in there, shut em down hard on the street! Hard to put down a mill that can put down 800 hp on the stock crank and rods and live all day! I don't even think a 440's stock rods can handle that kind of HP, though i may be wrong. And for anybody thinking it'll sound like a bumblebee, you've never heard a turbo Supra. Doesn't sound like a v8 but it has a very exotic sound of it's own.
