I am refering to a Sierra cosworth, I think it is a ford 2.5 w/ a 16v head.
Maybe I would just grind off the all lettering from the chrysler and have it as a mystery engine...

Supra's can make a lot of horsepower, not something that I'll argue...
But i'd rather have a 500 hp anytime than having to wait for my 500 hp to spool up with the supra engine...

Not much waiting, compared to the big block.

I'm not a fan of this argument...
It's not like you're gonna have 5 seconds of turbo lag.

Some things are sacred.
Mopars are one of them.
Sell the Cuda to someone that needs an E body project, forget this abortion.

I say do whatever you want to with it it's your car, not really my bag if you ask me (I've always kinda liked that big v8 sound associated with older muscle cars) but regardless sounds like a cool idea. and for those of you that are bashing him about it, he's not really ruining a classic car, anybody that buy's it from him in the future can convert it back fairly easily i mean you dont really have to do any hacking to the body to swap a motor just new mounts and such. Anyways I say go for it and like TKelly said just dont put a fart cannon on it.

It's not like hes swapping a Supra motor into a Hemi Daytona. So it really isnt that sacred.
As for waiting for boost, have you ever ridden in a properly tuned TT supra? theres zero lag if any. just hard acceleration all the way to redline. My friend just built one in miami, and it is amazing. I say build it, and if it runs like a dog, then we have the right to flame. Until then, lets see what happens.

Amen! People are swapping DOHC and SRT setups into numbered cars.. The SRT is more japanese than the engines that came in some of the turbo dodges.. I read that DSM R&D'd for the srt4 engines?
