I know I'm going to catch a lot of crap for even dreaming this up, but I'm going to try it anyway. Work won't begin untill I finish my Hybrid frankenstein Omni.
"OH' what a feeling, Toyota!"

I think it's a disgrace to place anything Japanese into a Cuda.

Agreed. Why not twin turbo the motor in the Cuda? A 340 or 360 would have lots of room for turbos, and a big block would make rediculous power.

Sounds like he special ordered that motor, so it wasnt "hanging" around.

Sounds pretty Fast and GAY drifting 3 putting a 2jz-gte in an old muscle car.

1320.com a guy on that site put that motor into an old 66-67 Nova Wagon. Thing sounded badass, and reliable as all hell. As far as that goes, that might be one of the few positives of the transplant. Aside from gobs of horsepower.

It sounded badass? That would be the sole reason I wouldn't put a 2jz into a muscle car is because I couldn't handle the thought of driving a muscle car that sounded like a bumble bee.
