Im just wantin to see what kind of respones I would get on this. I'm not concrete on this idea, but I was lookin for one before I got the Galant.

Here is some basic info on it. the body has 170k on it but the motor was replaced as well as the tranny. the car runs very strong & picks up very quickly. I'm pretty sure you all know what a Galant VR-4 is. The car is all stock it is a 91 1198/2000 the interior is in great shape. Here are some pictures of it. I put a wood grain interior in the car.

That is the link to pictures of the car. that is when the previous owner had it.

Well both are great sleepers. I'd bet that here on a TD forum everyone will tell you to trade it for the R/T, and vise versa on a DSM forum.

no way, the car is so banged up the engine and trans are the only good thing going for it, and even then it has the small 13g turbo which is common to automatic dsm's, if the engine has the 13g turbo then it's going to also have the smaller injectors as well. I'd pass on it, if the body wasn't so bad i'd might trade

Just to let you know the car does have a 14B turbo on it now.......which really made no differance. has the 450's injectors.

the car ran a 14.5 @ 93mph

If you find some sucker who will trade you a Spirit R/T for that pile, you better take it and RUN!

Depends on the condition of the spirit RT and how much snow you get in your local area.

With the body damage on the VR4 it would be a close call.

The hood is cheap to replace and the body damage can be fixed reasonably easy.

The VR4 with a big ass turbo stroked to 2.35 liters is a killer machine whereas the RT would just generate lots of tire smoke.

Where did you get the wood. I might do this to my VR4 too.

did someone attack that poor car with a baseball bat?

id rather have a gvr4 than an rt for the awd.. but rt's are a lot less known and therefore a lot more sleeper than gvr4's. tough call if you dont care about the launch difference.

burnouts are pretty cool anyway

The Galant is hardly heavier than an AWD 1G. I'm getting the body work done on it right now, as for the wood. woodtrim.com exotic dash kits.
