Sorry for Hijacking this Post, but on the "How rare" scale...I have made as of today a down payment on a 93 Shelby RT Daytona over here. Sadly its GREEN (YUCK!) But, a 2 owner car,and looks like new.71,000 Orig. miles, and was sidelined last 3 years because some dude in Holland drove it after the Oil pump gears had failed- So, motor completely rebuilt, has Tan Leather intereior, loaded. Anyone have any specs on how many (if any at all) RT's were ever officially Exported for the European market? And, how many? When I get this heap in 2-3 weeks, I will have what is allgedly one of 2 Daytona RT's in Europe. (Which is no joy when it comes to keep the thing up...) but hey, like new, no rust, not wrecked, always garaged.
Any info on prod. stats, etc...greatly appreciated!
PS- Is the Turbo on those Cars just a normal TII Garrett like all my other cars have, or the Teeny Mitsu?? thanks!
