How rare of a Daytona?

WEll i was bored the other day and was pondering the value of my daytona, its a 1990 VNT, white, all original, 4 wheel disks, pdl, power mirrors, tilt cruse, leather everyting ou can imagen for options...on the center cap on the white pumper wheels it says c/s so how many are there like this ever made?

there was 536 made there are a rare car by nature but not by value

my car is the same, 1990 C/S (not shelby) VNT daytona, one year car, AC delete, AGS code, bare-bones-go-fast model, one of like 21 or 36. Rare? yes. valuable? Not so much. I bought mine with mods for 1200.

Ya I was kinda dissapointed too when I bought a 90 LeBaron VNT. I knew it was rare but the value of it's not very high. Weird. O well....maybe in 10 yrs it will be worth something.

Sorry for Hijacking this Post, but on the "How rare" scale...I have made as of today a down payment on a 93 Shelby RT Daytona over here. Sadly its GREEN (YUCK!) But, a 2 owner car,and looks like new.71,000 Orig. miles, and was sidelined last 3 years because some dude in Holland drove it after the Oil pump gears had failed- So, motor completely rebuilt, has Tan Leather intereior, loaded. Anyone have any specs on how many (if any at all) RT's were ever officially Exported for the European market? And, how many? When I get this heap in 2-3 weeks, I will have what is allgedly one of 2 Daytona RT's in Europe. (Which is no joy when it comes to keep the thing up...) but hey, like new, no rust, not wrecked, always garaged.

Any info on prod. stats, etc...greatly appreciated!

PS- Is the Turbo on those Cars just a normal TII Garrett like all my other cars have, or the Teeny Mitsu?? thanks!

1989 Daytona ES White and silver with Burgandy interior, T tops, digital dash with auto and Turbo charged 2.5. 116,000. miles perfectly clean. Any info would be great

I've got an 86 Turbo z CS Flame Red. 42k miles power windows radio 5 SPD. no other options! any idea how many of these exist?
It's disassembled right now getting ready for a respray and new leather seats.
I'm also the original owner.

I have a 90 Daytona shelby vnt that I bought new for something like $17,000. I don't think I will ever get my money back out of it but I have put over 250,000 miles on it! I knew it was rare when I bought it. I went to the dealer and asked for a new daytona shelby VNT-5 speed black on black with overhead console. They could not find one but got me one with a sunroof instead. I took it in January 1990. I will get it running again soon.

For now I am driving an 88 daytona shelby Z TII 5 speed and a 89 lebaron GTC (convertable).

Also bought my VNT new in 12/89.
She has 152,000 and has been my only car and daily driver for the last 15 years.

I wonder how many of us original owners still own our VNT cars?

I sought out the car for the performance. I was fresh out of college, with a new engineering job, and wanted a high performance car. I was driving a 73 ralley challenger with a 340 at the time (still have that car also).

A friend had bought a 89 daytona shelby before I bought mine and I really liked his. He traded his for a 4x4 because he could not keep his foot out of it. He was about to loose his license because of tickets!
