I paid 700 for my 85 about 2 years ago... then traded it for a Escort gt.

I'm waiting on the pics to be sure. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight because I feel like I lost a hot girlfriend.. You HAVE to post pics. This is a crying shame that it's so far away. Should've had it shipped. even at $1000 shipping it would have been a steal. I paid $6500 for mine five years ago and I bought it from a local lady that her husband bought new. When I got it, it was a one owner with less than 100K and was damn near flawless. still pretty close to that too.

They're nice cars and actually the turbo regal and T-Type are more rare than a GN, the GN badge just brings more $. I like the look of the white turbo T-type with the black out option. very clean looking car without the price of the GN. Sounds like a great buy at 650. I'd of snatched it up in a heart beat if it was anywhere near here.

some of the T-Types and turbo regals are lighter then the GN's, but the GN's have a better looking int.

I knew there had to be a catch. I can't believe that you didn't ask for pics first.

Not worthless. Just slow. I low balled him $200 for it when I saw it had a carb. Id like to find one of the carb-turbo setups to bolt on to my Jeep's 3.8. Car was just rought. It was a gamble, but i was looking at buying a 3k car for 600 bucks. It was worth the $50 I spent in cash to go look at it today.

no worries.

There not worthless, just not as fast and desirable. The 87 had the best setup, IC, front mount turbo, SEFI and to remove it and put a weany carb motor in is sacriledge.

lol, I saw on the turbo buicks equivilent to the dodge garage theres a "$1500 to 14's!" how to under the carb section, and then in the intercooled SEFI section theres a "$1500 to 11's!" how to. I get the picture. For $200 it'd be a cool sand rail engine though.

The carb turbo ones are a little bit weird. You can make them faster, but they cant be intercooled, and since the turbo is kinda important for everything to fit together, you cant really swap it to a bigger one easily. I see them once in a while (usually in the junkyard).
