I made it up to get the car out of storage - It needs some work but these cars are so unique I had to buy it!

It had a few bonuses - 16g turbo , front strut tower bar, 9"wide rear wheels

it's a 20 footer and it needs some work but I am pretty excited

I have always liked the look of those cars and the rear wheel drive is pretty cool. Looks great from the pictures. Does it have black leather interior? How does the inside look? Take some pictures of the engine bay and interior so we can all see.
Later,
Cindy

I have ALWAYS liked those cars. Can't find 'em too often, anymore. How reliable are they compared to TD's? How do they take to mods?

yep, black leather. The car has sat for a few years so it needs cleaned on the inside and a good pressure wash under the hood! The previous owner removed his stereo(or it was stolen )so a lot of the dash parts are off.

no idea but I am up to the challenge. Maybe I will change it to a Conquest LS1.

2.6 turbo 4cyl. I think they are like 180 hp and 230tq or something like that from the factory. TBI 2 fuel injectors basicly the same 2.6 the caravan used with beefed up internals. I plan on using it as a summer driver. and..... using it as a test car to build some parts to resell.

Yeah, I keep bugging my wife to call Overhaulin. Let the Mopar guy restore it and I am sure that is what it will end up with.

nice car man! a friend of mine is selling/parting his out right now. it runs low 12's, but he can't seem to get it tuned right. unfortunately, a family death caused a need for some extra cash, so he has to get rid of it asap! it's fully built with a .73 trim turbo i think. crazy car. like i said, was running 12's and couldn't seem to get it tuned right yet... hopefully it goes to a nice home. looks just like yours! at first i thought it said you just bought it for the right price, i thought maybe it WAS his...

i think he decided to part it... not 100% sure. had it for sale for a week or two, then needed the cash. not sure where he's at with it now.

Devlish,

Is Jeff Cash the friend you're referring to?

If so, I think he decided to keep it. Just gonna put it on the back burner for a while.

i must be an idiot then, becuase i own a TD & a DSM!!! 2 of the biggest money pits ever! :-) can't say i've had hardly any reliability issues with the GLH though, then again, it's only seen about 5 miles this year!
