I have an 88 ranger and came across a supercoupe for a good deal. I have looked over the net and haven't found any info on doing a supercoupe swap into a ranger anywhere. I'm running the 2.9 V6 right now.

If anyone has any leads, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Gary

Chop Cut Rebuild did one in the first season. It has been done many times. Just keep looking, I am sure you will find some good info on it.

uh no that has a m-90 eaton the m-62 is a better choice the m-62 is for 2.0-4.0 litres it will flow way to much and you will probally blow your hood clean off if detonation is not a factor i'm installing a eaton m-62 on my 91 ranger with 2.3 dual plug this block is the same thing as the turbo birds the super coupes have a 3.8 that is why they use a m-90 on them but the intercoolers can work (hint hint)they have two of them and they bolt on so if you know someone who does exhaust work they can fab the pipe you need to make them work if you want to find a m-62 look for a gm 3800 with super charger like bonneville ssei or buick ultra or grand prix gtp or like a friend of mine done 1984 fiero 3.4 dohc with a m-62 it was awesome to ride in!!!!

Sounds like a fun project.

I just sold off my 83 ranger that had a fuelie 302 in it and power steering. Fun little toy but $$$ in gas was a deterent of driving it and driving force to sell.

Picked a little omni with a 2.5 turbo in it that runs quicker at the track and gets a lot better gas mileage.

Keep us posted and if oyu need links performance pm me.
