You might be able too that car was from around the same time that renult was selling cars in the U.S. so mabey we got a version. The clio v6 you couldnt regester beacuse I doubt that it would pass any kind of crash test (get rear ended and have a back full of engine). As a start for the RWD omni let me throw out the starion/conquest 2.6L turbo and IRS sounds like a place to start. If you want rear engine I would say get a TIII and a porsche G50 transaxle make an adaptor plate and some axles and you are done except for wiring.

Johnny, I saw one at the Saturday gathering last weekend with that same paint scheme. More than 3k but still very well cared for. Talked to the owner a bit he said he is a regular at the every Saturday Ford Motor Company parking lot show/GTG in Irvine. So the next time you are down here to visit the relatives, make sure it's on a Saturday we'll go check out the show. BTW the TC drew a ton of questions/attention. I did well to park it in the row behind all the Triumphs and misc Brit stuff

There was a very sweet looking 84(85?) Dodge Colt Turbo on eBay that shared a lot of the look of this Renault. That was a dream car, they don't come up for sale very often at all. Least they are much cheaper and easily registered in the States. Attractive little cars.
