Had a friend with one back in HS, ran with my CSX-T with a few mods. Not many made though so parts are probably $$$$ Cool sleeper though

They only made a few thousand of those. They use a really small turbo, if I remember correctly it's actually smaller than our Mitsu units. They make good torque, but run out of breathe past 5k. Performance was typical for 80s small cars, right around 16 through the 1/4.

165 hp stock,a friend had an automatic model and ran 16.3 I have magazine road tests that claim a best et of 15.5's for the 5-speed model, with an intercooler it could be a fun car.I dont think they were too rare in there day I was apprenticing then and the dealer I worked at sold lots.

If those cars were as cheap/easy to fix and modify, I wouldn't be on this board

They are a decent little car with some potential, but nothing like what we have.

Yeah those OHC 2.0 are almost extinct. I had an N/A one and it was garbage. Mantapart was the only place i knew of that sold performance parts for them. Harder to find performance parts for them than it is for my Quad4.

If you make it back that j/y and the car is still there, could you grab the cluster for me? I'll pay what the yard wants, shipping, and pay for your time. Only grab it if it looks like this:

glhman,
Is your cluster broken? If you give me the part number off the back, I can see if I can get it rebuilt for you. Let me know.

IM pretty positive that is the same as the one at the j-yard. I plan on going there some time this week. If it's still there ill grab it. But only if your positive you want it. I can't really spare any $ at the moment. Oh and where are you located?
