Who makes the turbos for the new GTI's? My brother bought one, wants to know. And how are they doing autocrossing? Him or his wife will probably be in it this year, what class would it fit into??

I don't know about the autox stuff. But I'm pretty sure that all turbos on VW/Audi/Porsche/Lambo, use KKK turbos. I could be wrong though, someone more knowledgeable should see this soon.

They arent really competitive autocross cars, but really unless you are worried about being able to place in the top 10 at the nationals it doesnt matter that much. They are probably in g-stock, but check on scca.com and see for sure.

The new Gti MKV use a KKK K03 turbo with the hotside like an SRT-4 part of the exhaut manifold also they use a electric integrated diverter valve.

They run fairly low boost like the 1.8T that is why you can pick up 50 hp and 100ft/lbs of torque with a simple reflash.
